Congratulations on Our Students’ Outstanding Performance in HKDSE 2024
Outstanding results in Core subjects:
The passing rate of English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics and Citizenship and Social Development were 99%, 99%, 97% and 98% respectively. It is remarkable that the credit rates of all core subjects were far higher than the Hong Kong average.
The percentage of our students achieving Level 3 or above in English Language was 86% which was far higher than the Hong Kong average of 55%. Chinese Language surpassed the Hong Kong average at every level (including Level 5**).
Additionally, the rate in all subjects with Level 4 or above was approximately 50%, which was higher than the Hong Kong average.
Compared with Hong Kong average:
6 subjects with Level 5 or above higher than the Hong Kong average.
13 subjects with Level 4 or above higher than the Hong Kong average.
15 subjects with Level 2 or above higher than the Hong Kong average.
High admission rate to universities:
92% Students met the entrance requirements for admission to the degree programmes and sub-degree programmes.
The percentage of our students attaining the entrance requirements for Hong Kong universities was 66%. Among them, 73% of our students meeting the entrance requirements for Hong Kong universities enrolled in the eight major universities, with approximately 40% attending the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
